Certified Recovery Mentor II (CRMII) for African American Peers
40 Hour Training

The 40-hour Certified Recovery Mentor II (CRM II) is an advanced peer recovery credential through MHACBO. It builds on the basic CRM and requires an active CRM, at least two years of recovery, 80 total hours of peer support training (CRM I & II), and 500 supervised hours in core peer recovery domains. CRM II leads to a national IC&RC Peer Recovery credential, allowing easier certification transfer across states. This training is culturally specific to African American peers.

The Certified Recovery Mentor (CRM) Training through MHACBO is a 40-hour peer-based training for individuals with lived recovery experience. It prepares participants to support others through recovery using ethical, strengths-based, and person-centered practices, and is required for CRM certification in Oregon.

Peer Support Specialist Salud Mental (PSS) Spanish Language

40-hour Peer Support Specialist (PSS) training through Oregon Health Authority’s Traditional Health Worker program prepares individuals with lived mental health or recovery experience to provide peer-based, person-centered support. The training focuses on advocacy, recovery support, ethics, and community connection, and is required for OHA PSS certification.

Certified Recovery Alcohol and Drug Counselor I (CADCI) Spanish Language
95 Hour Training

The CADC training meets MHACBO core requirements and includes 8 hours of test readiness preparation. The program covers Basic and Group Counseling Skills, Alcohol and Drug Pharmacology, Infectious Disease Risk Reduction, Counseling Ethics, and Clinical Evaluation using ASAM and DSM criteria.
